Jed & Sheila McGuire

Lead Pastor

Over the past decade, my experiences and guidance from God have led me to become the Lead Pastor of Canvas Church. I grew up as a pastor's kid (PK) in Northern Minnesota before spending some time in South Central Iowa after college, where I attended North Central University in Minneapolis.

In 2014, I moved back to Minnesota. I have an amazing family, including my wife, Sheila, and our three children. Since returning to Minnesota, I have completed a Master of Education in teaching and have been working with students, as well as with the local church and schools.

I am passionate about witnessing lives transformed as people encounter and recognize daily what Christ has done for them. Every day is a gift, and I choose to live it to the fullest.

I’m grateful that my wife Sheila serves as the Women’s Ministry Leader at Canvas Church. Together we are encouraged by the many lives changed here at Canvas when they encounter Christ.

Grace Kadlec

Youth Pastor & Young Adults

I graduated from North Central University in April 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies. During college, I volunteered, interned, and worked as a Youth Administrative Assistant at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington, Minnesota.

In October 2023, I married my husband, Josh, and together we have enjoyed making Northfield our home. Since moving to Northfield and joining the team at Canvas Church in October 2022, I have become more involved in the community by serving as a substitute teacher in the Northfield Public Schools district and as a board member for Cornerstone Academy.

I am passionate about investing in the next generation and helping students grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover how God is working in their lives. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the students and families of Canvas YTH and the Northfield community.

I have worked in many different industries over the years, including health and wellness, early childhood, and leadership and management roles. I love Canvas Church and have been a part of this church family for over 8 years. I have worked on staff for the past two years and am excited for all the years ahead here at Canvas!
I am passionate about this next generation and about seeing them walk in their giftings and in who God has called them to be!

Mid-week Kids Pastor

I am a grateful follower of Jesus and am excited to serve at Canvas Church as the Kids Discipleship Pastor, helping lead Girls Ministry and oversee Wednesday Night Ministries.

My husband, John, and I have been part of the Canvas family for well over a decade, and we consider it an honor to serve here. We have nine children between us and are blessed with a growing crew of grandchildren who bring us so much joy!

With a diverse background, education, and experience in both nursing and ministry, I am passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.

I am also the founder of Mirabella Coaching & Heart Healing and a Certified Prophetic Heart Healing Facilitator, serving alongside Canvas’ Freedom Ministry.

I am grateful to be part of the Canvas family and to see lives transformed as people encounter Jesus.
