Happy New Year, Canvas Church! We are praying that God will move in a mighty way in your life and in the life of your family, as you humbly surrender in obedience to Him when you walk through the next 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting.

We have a daily prayer list below to follow. Start your prayer time each day praising God for who He is, what He did on the cross, and reflecting on the His Holiness and the Truth He's given us through His Word.

Tips for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting:

  • Consistency: Set a reminder for 12:01 PM each day to stop and pray, even if it’s just for a few minutes.

  • Fasting: If you're fasting, determine whether you will do a full fast, a partial fast (such as a Daniel fast), or another type of fast. Remember that fasting is not just about abstaining from food but about drawing closer to God and focusing on spiritual growth.

  • Scripture: Consider reading a portion of Scripture each day to complement your prayer. Psalm 51 for renewal, Ephesians for community, and Acts for Kingdom advancement can be good places to start. We will be following the YouVersion Bible Plan ‘21 Days of Breakthrough.’ Join here!

  • Community: If possible, connect with others who are participating in the fast. There’s power in shared prayer.

Remember to be prayerful and in the Bible during the time you would have spent eating or the thing you are giving up. When food crosses your mind, direct your thoughts to God and prayer. This is a great opportunity to let Him transform your heart and mind.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Just as you would pursue a new friend or love interest, pursue God. Pour into your relationship with Him as you would with your greatest life's passion. If you know Jesus and Jesus knows you, you'll be spending eternity with Him.

Job 22:28
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
